The short version. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for. UnitForge never asks for your email, never uploads anything you make, and stores no personal data on any server. Characters and custom parts you create stay in your own browser, and backups are files you save to your own disk.
UnitForge (www.unitforge.net) is a free browser tool for making 2D pixel art characters, operated independently under the name UnitForge.
Everything you make. Custom parts you draw or upload, and your settings such as language and view preferences, are held in your browser's localStorage. This data is never transmitted anywhere — not to us, not to anyone else. It is not a copy of something we hold; it is the only copy.
Because of that, clearing your browser data deletes it. Export backup in the app writes every custom part into a single .json file that you save to your own device. That file is never uploaded, and Import backup reads it straight back from your disk.

That is the complete list. No account data, no email addresses, no advertising, no third-party trackers, and nothing is sold or shared.
UnitForge sets no cookies at all — none for advertising, none for analytics, and none for sessions, since there are no sessions. Your settings live in localStorage, which is not transmitted to any server.
Since no personal data is stored on our side, there is nothing for us to look up, correct or erase on request. To delete what the app has kept, clear this site's data in your browser; to delete a backup, delete the file.
Server access logs and analytics are held by our host, Vercel, under its own retention schedule; requests about those records go to Vercel directly. If you are in the EEA or the UK, or in the Republic of Korea, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
UnitForge is not directed at children. Since no account can be created and no personal data is collected, using the tool requires no information about the person using it.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is recorded or how it is used, the "last updated" date above will change and a notice will appear in the app.
